Problem
When you join a meeting, it often feels awkward, like nobody really wants to be here. This feeling is a representation of the fact that nobody likes meetings because those are often perceived as a waste of time.
Part of the problem can be solved easily by applying what was described during the previous chapter: describe the topics in the meeting agenda and clearly define the objectives of the meeting.
Sharing information ahead of the meeting and asking people to contribute by commenting, refining some topics with additional information can motivate participants to do better.
Another issue however comes from running the meeting itself so as to squeeze as much brain juice as possible for the duration of the meeting.
